Tyler Armstrong has hiked in the ice, snow, rain, and heat. He has dealt with altitude sickness, and hiking in the dark. Tyler carries most of his own gear including poles, water, food, and clothing.
Tyler Armstrong runs approximately 4.5 miles on hills. He runs approximately 3 times a week. On the days he was not running, he would walk on the treadmill for 1 hour at a 10% grade, with weights in his backpack. Some days he would do sprints and races with the neighborhood kids.
Tyler Armstrong plays soccer 3 days a week.
